The Rundown: The Avengers travel to the ruins of Battleworld to track down the mysterious missing moment.

Not wanting to leave the Earth without protectors, the Avengers call in Cyclops and his X-Men to take over the Impossible City in their absence as Carol and the others make their way across the stars to a black hole that will lead them to the location of the grail they are seeking. At the same time, the City calls in some backup for the team that no one was expecting.

After entering the anomaly and discovering that Myrddin has not only beat them to it, but is in possession of the object they seek, he unleashes zombie versions of dead heroes on the Avengers before their backup arrives and the villain reveals who he really is.

The Story: MacKay delivers a thrilling, fun and entertaining story in this issue. I continue to be engaged and intrigued with the quest the characters are on and the story has some great twists and turns that I was pleasantly surprised by including the ally sent to help the Avengers and the reveal of who Myrddin really is. I’m excited to see what happens next in this storyline.

The Art: Karami crafts some beautifully detailed art throughout the issue.
